A 70-year-old individual posted a collection of disturbing images to a United Kingdom magazineThe Sun, indicating what she says were serious injuries from a fall that resulted in “nerve damage affecting her speech, eating, and drinking,” according to the source.
A source claimed to the publication that Dickinson’s “face has been permanently changed and the scars and dents are not fixable.”
One of the images depicts Dickinson resting on what seems to be a hospital bed, having an IV in her arm and multiple bloodied cuts on her face.
A detailed photograph captures Dickinson’s face, displaying a bruise on her chin, directly beneath another injury that runs from the base of her nose across her lip.
The report stated that Dickinson mentioned she stumbled in the dark while filmingI’m a Celebrity… South Africa, an all-star offshoot of the popularI’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!competition series.
Dickinson states that the injuries caused her to leave the competition, which she eventually placed 10th in.
Following the reported event, Dickinson mentioned in a previous interview withThe SunI thought, ‘Geez, I’ll never work again,’ considering the nature of her career as a public figure and former model.
She said, “Definitely too injured to return to the show. I had blood, bruises all over my face, and open wounds. It really affected my confidence,” although she mentioned that “her face didn’t need stitches.”
Nevertheless, “It was painful to remove all the dirt and gravel from my face, it was terrible,” Dickinson said.
In September, Dickinson reportedly took legal action against the show’s production company, ITV Studios, seeking £700,000 (approximately $936,000), due to claims that they refused to cover specific medical expenses.
When contacted for a response, an ITV representative issued a statement to Entertainment Weekly via email.

EW has contacted representatives for Dickinson seeking input regarding both the fall and the supermodel’s legal action against ITV Studios.
