Good was fatally shot during a confrontation with an ICE officer on Wednesday, following allegations that she veered her vehicle toward him. In the meantime, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that the agent acted in self-defense, characterizing Good’s actions prior to the shooting as “an act of domestic terrorism.”

Viewers of the Golden Globes swiftly expressed their opinions on social media regarding the political demonstration on the red carpet.

“Kudos to those in power who speak out for what is correct,” another person wrote.
“A striking moment on the red carpet,” another remarked.

“They are extremely pitiful and a group of liars,” one X user commented.
“If Hollywood is against it, you should support the opposite,” another person remarked.
“Clearly [Ruffalo] hasn’t viewed all the footage from various perspectives. Ruffalo has maintained his own agenda for many years, and factual evidence often interferes with it,” another person commented.
“A group of un-American actors that I will never watch again!!! The fact that you all think this helps is ridiculous!!!” wrote another.

During a recent interview on “The Joe Rogan ExperienceThe 70-year-old actor explained that if someone wins an award and feels ‘truly honored by it,’ he believes they should use their time on stage to ‘honor the people who gave it to you,’ rather than draw attention to a cause.
He stated, “There’s a specific time and location for that,” and at award ceremonies, “you should simply focus on what it is.”

“Don’t head up there and start talking about saving the badgers in Wisconsin or something, you know what I mean?” he said. “And people would counter by saying, ‘Well, no, because I have a voice and because everyone knows me. This is a great opportunity for me to share this.’
Well, what do you think? If you have a billion dollars and you want to save the badgers, by all means, save them,” he said. “I mean, you have more than enough money to save the badgers, believe me. That won’t even make a dent in your budget.
