Clooney and Wyle Reunite on ER After 16 Years

Noah Wyle shares a lasting friendship withGeorge Clooney.
The 54-year-old actor has been friends with the Hollywood legend since they first met on the set of the medical series ER over 30 years ago, and he described how the two have an ‘intimate’ connection.
Speaking to PeopleAt the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards on Saturday, Noah stated: “It’s catching up when we can, but always from the point where we last left off.”
The connections formed during that performance are so beautiful and personal that I believe we don’t need to be fully present in each other’s lives to understand the context of our lives.
The Pitt star added, “But he has been a significant influence in my life and often appears at crucial times.”
“So I’m proud to be here tonight to share this one,” he added.
Wyle and Clooney, who is 64, gave each other awards for their performances in “The Pitt” and “Jay Kelly” respectively, and the former mentioned how he would meet with the star of “Ocean’s Eleven” whenever their schedules permitted.
Thinking back to their final meal together, he remarked, “It was either here in LA at the Chateau Marmont one night when he was between jobs, or it was in Vancouver when I was working on something and he was in New Vancouver.”
It’s one of those… ‘Are you in New York right now?’ type of last-minute, impulsive evenings that you expect to last a couple of hours but end up stretching through most of the night.
Clooney recalled how he first met Wyle in 1993 when he presented him with the Best Actor award in the TV category.
The star of Gravity said: “He was wise beyond his years from the very beginning, from the very start.”
He was also the most compassionate individual I’ve ever known. We formed a close friendship from the beginning. Our bond has lasted for more than 30 years.
George said, “He is an exceptional father. He is an outstanding husband. Everyone can recognize how remarkable an actor he is. I am very proud to consider him a friend. I am also proud to call him a coworker. And when I grow up, I hope to be Noah Wyle.”
This follows Wyle’s rare outing with his wife and children.only a few days after one of his most notable achievements.
The performer appeared stylish at theLos AngelesThe second season of his highly praised show The Pitt, which is also a medical crime drama, premiered on Wednesday night.
A father of three, Wyle was fortunate to have his family with him at the event, where he stood on the red carpet alongside his actress wife Sara, 46, and their two older children: 23-year-old son Owen and 20-year-old daughter Auden.
The actor has two children with his former wife, makeup artist Tracy Warbin, whom he was married to from 2000 until 2014. He also has a daughter named Frances, who is 11, with Sara.
The recipient of the Critics Choice Award appeared sharp in a burgundy suit and demonstrated his stylish flair with a coordinated beige tie and dress shirt.
His wife Sara appeared breathtaking in a gold, sleeveless dress paired with a matching clutch.
