While chatting with Gayle Kingon the crimson carpet at the2026 Golden Globe Awards, the Heated Rivalry star, 24, shared his take on agreat first date. Williams considered the question before surprising the 71-year-old journalist with his answer.

Williams donned a white peak-lapel formal jacket with a grosgrain trim, matched with a white silk evening shirt, black formal pants, and a white grosgrain sash, all designed by Giorgio Armani. He completed the look with a Bulgari necklace to add some sparkle.
Williams and Storrie, who portray opposing hockey players on fictional professional teams in the series, available on HBO Max and adapted from Rachel Reid’s book series, have been highly visible (and beyond) in recent months. To support the show, which is derived from the author Rachel Reid’s novel of the same title, Williams and Storrie have captivated the internet through viral interviews, provocative photo sessions, and a series of social events.
In an interview on the red carpet withE!, Williams praised his appearance, stating he felt great in his Armani outfit and Bulgari jewelry. Williams also joked that he isn’t overwhelmed by “the large scale” of how popular the show has become but hedoesfeel overwhelmed by the large number of emails he receives these days.

Williams, who portrays Canadian hockey player Shane Hollander, made an appearance onThe Tonight Show Hosted by Jimmy FallonOn January 7, he not only showed how he stretches like an actual hockey player, but also revealed to host Jimmy Fallon the undergarments he and Storrie, 25, wore for the sensual performance.
“They refer to it as a c— sock,” Williams said to the host.
The crowd laughed as Fallon made a face, pointing out that this episode featured “the most bleeping we’ve ever done in the history of”The Tonight Show.”
