Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalomanaged to blend a small-scale13 Going on 30reconnection for their night at the 2026Golden Globe Awards.
Reporters at the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11, observed Garner, 53, and Ruffalo, 58, smiling as they socialized at a dinner prior to the ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
The actors are well-known for their roles in the popular 2004 romantic comedy, where a 13-year-old character named Jenna Rink is magically turned into a 30-year-old woman residing in New York City and working as an editor at a fashion magazine. Ruffalo played Matty, Jenna’s childhood friend, a professional photographer, and eventual romantic partner, in this film that plays with time, also featuring Judy Greer, Andy Serkis, and Kathy Baker, among other cast members.
Ruffalo received a nomination on the January 11 awards event for his role in the HBO seriesTasknext to Sterling K. Brown (Paradise), Diego Luna (Andor), Gary Oldman (Slow Horses), Adam Scott (Severance) and Noah Wyle, who received the honor for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Drama for his role inThe Pitt.
13 Going on 30marked its 20th anniversary in 2024, and Ruffalo mentioned in November of that year that it’s “the one I refer to when they approach meof any film he has appeared in. The actor mentioned that fans often give him Razzles and that they always want to discuss Matt’s late-night run for Razzles candy with Jenna from Garner’s movie.
Garner has also mentioned filming that scene as “a favorite memoryfrom creating the film.
