Millie Court Opens Up About Love on ‘Love Island’

Love Island U.K. Season 7 winner Millie Courtis scheduled to come back to the franchise as a member of the castLove Island: All Stars Season 3, Peacock confirmed.
Court first appeared on Love Island U.K. in 2021, arriving at the villa as a surprise on Day 9. She then became involved withLiam Reardon, and the couple were declared victors on Day 58. Following the show, the two tried to develop a relationship beyond the villa before ultimately parting ways.
Thinking back on her choice to come back, Court mentioned in a media interview, “I was truly thankful for the opportunity to be at the Villa four years ago – what reason would I have not to want that experience once more?”
The court mentioned that she intends to remain authentic this time, stating, “I’m still the same person I was four years ago; I’ll stay true to myself as I did before, have some fun, and add a little flirting… it’s all going to be positive energy.”
She also wishes that audiences recognize her personal development since her initial appearance. “As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to understand myself much better,” Court stated. “I’m much more at ease in my own skin. When I was 24, that wasn’t the case. I’m more confident now. I feel like I know what I want. When it comes to finding a partner, I’ll be more selective and ensure I make the right choice.”
The court mentioned she is particularly excited about going back to the girls’ locker room. “That’s my favorite part,” she said. “I enjoy getting ready. I love doing my hair and makeup and getting dressed up with the girls. We used to always have some gossip in there, learning who is doing what. It’s going to be really fun!”
She also discussed why she thinks the Love Island format still appeals to both viewers and participants. “I believe it’s an opportunity to meet people you wouldn’t typically meet,” Court said. “Often, you stick with someone from your own area or have a specific preference, but it encourages you to step outside of that. It’s really unique to connect with someone you wouldn’t have otherwise. Instead of swiping on an app, just hang out in person.”life.”
As for what excites her the most, Court described it briefly: “Getting a sunburn and developing feelings! I enjoy flirting. I love going out for a night out and having a playful flirt. So flirting and tanning!”
Looking forward, Court mentioned that viewers can expect to see a more self-assured and lighthearted side of her. “I’ll be a bit more sassy, a funnier Millie than before,” she said. “I think I was somewhat reserved last time. They can look forward to seeing more of me being a girl’s girl. I’m the one who always stands by someone when they’re feeling down. It’s always great to witness friendships develop, not always romantic relationships. Not saying I’m going in there for…”friendship, but that’s always quite nice.”
