Nikki Glaser humorously targeted the A-list celebrities during her opening stand-up at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday.

The most audacious jokes by Glaser revolved around the late Jeffrey Epstein and his connections to the entertainment industry.

“I can’t believe the amount of celebrity presence in this room tonight, it’s unbelievable,” she started. “There are so many top-tier stars… and by ‘top-tier stars,’ I mean people on a list that has been significantly censored,” she joked.

“Yes, and the Golden Globe for best editing is awarded to… the Justice Department. Yes, congratulations,” Glaser said to a loud audience.

The 41-year-old comedian carried on with the joke, targeting CBS — even though the network broadcasts the awards ceremony, “And the award for best editing goes to: CBS News, yes CBS News, America’s newest spot to watch BS news. We needed another.”

The remark follows CBS News’ recent programming adjustments and choices.

She subsequently criticized Leonardo DiCaprio and his past relationships with younger women.

You’ve collaborated with every top director. You’ve won three Golden Globes and an Oscar,” she said to DiCaprio, who is 51. “The most remarkable part is that you’ve managed to achieve all of this before your girlfriend reached the age of 30. It’s just incredible.

DiCaprio handled the joke with good humor, laughing along with the audience.

She also received laughs with her “Wicked” jokes, saying, “‘Wicked: For Good’ came back for ‘Wicked for money.’”

Once more, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande delivered performances that defined their careers,” she added. “Two hours into the film, I was crying, thinking, ‘I can’t believe there’s 45 minutes left!’

The comedian also targeted Timothée Chalamet, commenting on his performance in “Marty Supreme,” saying, “Timothée Chalamet is the first actor in history to have to build muscle for a film about ping pong. He added more than 60 ounces. It’s crazy.”

Glaser came back as the host of this year’s Golden Globes followingher successful period of hosting last year.Glaser’s jokes regarding the celebrity-filled crowd received many laughs back then, includingher comment on Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco.

“She’s here tonight with her new fiancé, Benny Blanco,” Glaser said regarding Gomez, who latermarried Blanco in September.

She then said, “And Benny Blanco is here because of the genie that granted his wish. Man, that’s a lucky guy.”

Glaser later unveiled her “crazy” joke regarding Ben Affleckthat she ultimately decided to cut.

“I almost said, like, ‘Am I going to roast or am I going to toast? You know what? I’m not roasting. I’m going to toast,’” she mentioned during her visit to SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” in January.

“And I just made all these toasts that were actually roasts. Like, ‘Here’s to Ben Affleck, I can’t wait to see which Jennifer you try to mess up next,’” she added, referencingAffleck’s ex-wives,Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez.

Glaser also alleged she received a lower amount of moneymore than a previous male host — and likely secured better terms the second time around.

I was fairly compensated — I’m fine with that,” she said to Stern. “There was a previous host who mentioned how much he earned in his monologue, and I received less than that, but that’s okay. I’ll earn more next year.

In my first year, when I was just trying to establish myself, I would have done it without any payment,” she added. “It’s an incredible platform to be part of. The money isn’t what matters to me.

Glaser is the first female to present the Golden Globes on her own.

“Hosting the Golden Globes this year was definitely the most enjoyable experience I’ve had in my career,” she stated in a release following the announcement by Dick Clark Productions — the company behind the awards ceremony — that she wouldreturn as host for the 2026 ceremony.

I can’t wait to do it again, and this time in front of the ‘The White Lotus’ team who will finally acknowledge my talent and offer me a role in Season 4 as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a mysterious background.
