Golden Globeshost Nikki Glaser has faced online criticism for awkwardly pronouncingPriyanka ChopraJonas’ name was incorrectly mentioned on live television.
The comedian, 41 years old, is hosting the high-profile event, which is being held at the Beverly Hilton inLos Angeles, California, for the second consecutive year.
But things became awkward when she introduced Chopra as a presenter… and completely mispronounced her name.
Rather than referring to her as Priyanka Chopra Jonas, she stated ‘Priyanka Chopra’Jones, and fans immediately ridiculed her for the error online.
“Did she actually say Priyanka Chopra JONES rather than JONAS?” one X user inquired.
“Who is ‘Priyanka Chopra Jones’?” another person asked.
Chopra strode down the red carpet alongside her husband, Nick Jonas, and the pair struggled to keep their hands off each other.
Chopra, 43, presented an elegant appearance in a long midnight blue dress that evoked the essence of classic Hollywood, featuring a double-layered skirt and a metallic top.
The dress that fell off the shoulder revealed a hint of cleavage and was paired with a sparkling diamond necklace.
Her beautifully rich hair flowed freely in waves, and she enhanced her glowing skin with minimal makeup, demonstrating how little she has changed since becoming a beauty queen who transitioned into a Bollywood star.
She passionately held onto her well-dressed husband, 33, who previously won a Golden Globe for a song titled Home that he composed for the animated film Ferdinand.
The showbegan with a powerful speechfrom Glaser, where she targeted the president Donald Trump’s Justice Department, asserting they should receive an award for ‘best editing’ following the release of the extensively-redacted Epstein documents.
“I can’t believe the number of famous people in this room tonight. It’s unbelievable,” she said.
“So many top stars — and by top stars, I mean individuals on ‘a list’ that has been significantly censored,” Glaser added, prompting loud applause and a few audible sighs from the celebrity crowd.
She humorously presented the “Golden Globe for Best Editing” to Trump’s Justice Department, which has only released one percent of the documents since Trump approved their release in November 2025.
She then turned her attention to Leonardo DiCaprio, making a ‘cheap’ comment regarding the actor’s preference for younger women.
“I mean, countless legendary performances. You’ve collaborated with every top director. You’ve received three Golden Globe awards and an Oscar,” she said.
And the most remarkable aspect is that you managed to achieve all of this prior to your girlfriend’s 30th birthday.
