Stephen Graham got starstruck by Queen Latifahas he received his prize at the 2026Golden Globes.
The 52-year-old performer received the Best Male Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Television Movie award for his part in Netflix’sAdolescenceon Sunday, January 11 at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
Graham received a large embrace from hisGangs of New York costar and old friend Leonardo DiCaprioAs he walked toward the stage, he also called out Latifah, 55, as he concluded his speech.
“Initially, I just want to extend a huge congratulations to all the nominees in this category. Exceptional performances throughout, each and every one of you— it’s a privilege to be in this room with you,” Graham said.
The performer expressed gratitude to his wife Anna Walters, who is employed atAdolescenceas an executive producer and appeared in one episode, referring to her as “one of the best producers ever and a woman I’m extremely fortunate to be married to.”
I’ve mentioned this before, but you saved my life. You saved my life,” he said to Walters. “And to my two wonderful children, Grace and Alfie, I love you more than anything in the world. My dad, my pops, my hero, I want to dedicate this award specifically to my mom and all my friends and family, you all know who you are. Without you, none of this would have been possible.

In Adolescence, which received five Golden Globe Award nominations, Graham portrays Eddie Miller, the father of a 13-year-old boy named Jamie (Owen Cooper) is charged and taken into custody for the murder of a teenage girl in his class.
In September, Graham won the EmmyFor Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology, or Movie, for his performance. Last weekend on January 4, he received the 2026 Critics Choice Awards for his role.
The other Oscar nominees wereJacob Elordi for The Narrow Road to the Inner North, Paul Giamatti in Black Mirror, Charlie Hunnam for Monster: The Tale of Ed Gein, Jude Law in Black Rabbit, and Matthew Rhys for The Beast in Me.

Elordi portrays Dorrigo Evans, a military doctor who gains recognition as a war hero following his experience of being held captive in a Japanese prisoner of war camp. The Prime Video series is adapted from the 2013 novel by Richard Flanagan with the same title.
In 2026, Elordi received two acting nomination nods at the Golden Globes, including Best Supporting Actor in a Film for his performance inFrankenstein.

Giamatti starred in the Black Mirror episode named, “Eulogy,” in which Phillip, a man who uses advanced memory technology to enter old photographs and revisit his late ex-girlfriend. The episode shows Phillip as he discovers the truth about their separation.
The performer has previously received two Golden Globe awards, for his roles inJohn Adams and Barney’s Versionin 2009 and 2011, respectively.

InMonster: The Tale of Ed Gein, Hunnam stars in the show’stitular characterand a genuine serial murderer whose crimes have inspired numerous well-known movies, such asPsycho, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and The Quiet of the Sheep.

In Black Rabbit, Law portrays the charming Jake Friedken, the proprietor of the Black Rabbit restaurant and bar in New York City. He is the brother of Vince Friedken, played byJason Bateman, who introduces disorder upon his return to the family enterprise.

In The Beast in Me, Rhys portrays Nile Jarvis, a man who was previously the main suspect in his wife’s vanishing. When he relocates next door to Aggie Wiggs (Claire Danes), she starts looking into his life.
